GREEN DETOX SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
1 cup water OR coconut water
2 bunches organic kale
Juice of 1 organic lemon
1 organic green apple
1 frozen organic banana
2 pitted organic dates
1 to 2 slices of ginger root
Ice
Frozen bananas make the smoothie thick and creamy! Break bananas into pieces and freeze in container overnight. To make smoothie, mix all ingredients in blender. (Alternatively: juice lemon and kale, then add to blender with remaining ingredients.)
Optional Additions:
- Soaked almonds or protein shake mix
- Berries
- Flax or Chia seeds
APPLE PIE SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1 cup of mixed greens
1 peeled, chopped apple
1 cup almond milk
½ tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Ice (optional)
Mix all ingredients in blender for 1-2 minutes and serve. Note: You can add other ingredients for added nutrition such as flax or Chia seeds.

GREEN DETOX JUICE
Ingredients
1 bunch organic kale
1 organic cucumber
1 cup organic parsley
2 celery sticks
1 organic lemon
1 green (or red) apple
1 thin slice of ginger root
Push ingredients through juicer one at a time.
Put the cucumber through last to flush through all of the ingredients. Pour and drink soon after making.
AVOCADO TARTAR
Ingredients
1 medium avocado, diced
1/2 cup minced heirloom tomatoes
1/2 cup diced yellow bell peppers
1/2 cup diced fresh mango
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 teaspoon chopped cilantro
Juice of half a 1 lime
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper (or to taste)
Mix all ingredients together, blending liquid well while ingredients remain chunky.
